Running from July 15 - August 31 at the Dorman Museum in Middlesbrough I have an exhibition of my work taken during my time spent in Iraq between November 06 and May 07.
This is a stunning collection of shots set in the calm and safe environment of the Dorman Museum. The work makes you think what lies behind the lens: the heartache, the fear, the destruction. There is breadth in the subject matter. And there moments of lightness in all that chaos. This is a rare & prviliged insight into the Iraq of today.
I am a professional photographer from Saltburn, North Yorkshire.
This blog is about my photography and some of the projects I am currently working on and some of the pictures I take.
For other examples of my work please feel free to visit my website at www.ianforsythphotography.co.uk
